Artist Residencies are at the core of our artistic ecosystem. A mix of permanent, medium term and guest studios, the residencies irrigate by their creativity and artistic contributions what Urban Spree is about.
Urban Spree Galerie regularly invites artists in its guest studio for show term residencies, from two weeks up to two months, in order for them to work on or complete their upcoming show in the gallery. This funded program usually includes gallery residencies, where artists work directly in the gallery space on large scale works, installations, and can interact with the audience.
Currently, our permanent residents include Andrea Wan, Rylsee, Tavar Zawacki/Above, Johannes Mundinger, and the screen printing studio of Dolly Demoratti’s Mother Drucker.
There is no formal application process. The residency program is invitation-only.
