Bisco Smith designs 2 exclusive t-shirts and hoodies for Urban Spree.
Following his Residency in Berlin earlier this year, the Brooklyn-based calligraffiti artist adds his signature handstyle to our Artist Series.
The series is limited to a run of 50 hoodies and 50 t-shirts only.
They are manually screen printed in-house at Urban Spree in Berlin.
The back motive reads « Urban Spree » in a complex, free flow handstyle which is the trademark of the American artist, while the front medallion represents a simplified version of the motive – also called « throw-up ». The black hoodies and t-shirts are printed with a gunpowder shimmering water-based grey ink.
The Urban Spree Artist Series is a limited edition of screen printed calligraphic t-shirts and hoodies in collaboration with graffiti and visual artists.
The series will be available on our website on Thursday, November 29th at 12:00 (noon) NYC time and 18:00 in Berlin.

Mafia Tabak has designed a limited edition t-shirt for the Urban Spree Artist Series 2016.
Mafia Tabak is a young austrian graffiti and urban artist hailing from Vienna. Member of the Irga Irga Crew together with Knarf, Mik Shida, and Fresh Max, his painting and murals are explicit references to tv series, cartoons, animes, video games, software, remixes, photoshop, italo-disco etc…
His graffiti style is semi-abstract, with partially erased letters, blur lines, flowers and palm trees, definitively fresh. Each year, the tour embarks on a drinking and painting binge across Europe and publish a zine called « Wandblatt ».
The t-shirt is available in the Urban Spree webstore here and in our Berlin shop.
Berlin-based 1UP Crew is now releasing their first t-shirts and hoodies of 2016.
Just one week after the release of the Bangkok Ghost Tower Limited Edition Screen Print, the Crew makes now available a new series of t-shirts and hoodies with the Bangkok Ghost Tower motive, based on a photograph taken by the crew after the spraying action. The new line is exclusively available at Urban Spree.
The spectacular original 1UP rooftop bombing originally dates from 2011 and was the first large scale graffiti on the abandoned and decaying tower and as well remains the highest elevation graffiti in Bangkok.
The 50-storey high Sathorn Unique Tower, said to be haunted, cast an ominous spell on the city skyline and has become an unofficial urbex spot, rightfully crowned by the Berlin-based crew.
