"WALLS" is the catalogue published on the occasion of the collective exhibition "WALLS" curated by Fabrice Douar and Cyrille Gouyette (Le Louvre Museum) and held at Urban Spree Galerie in Berlin (17.01.2020 - 29.02.2020).
Stéphane Levallois worked for two years on this comic book story. This space opera illustrates the talent of Levallois in two fields that he masters to perfection: the world of science fiction and drawing.
Lars Wunderlich's painting "Noborderland" is a bold conceptual composition and "mise en abyme" As usual with the painter, glitches and distorsions signal a time warp, a collision through eras but also signify that history can repeat itself. As a painter who grew up in East Germany, Wunderlich is particularly sensitive to the theme of the wall.
