Sebas Velasco (born 1988 in Burgos, Spain), is a Spanish painter, primarily using oil painting in his urban landscape compositions. His themes are usually driven by an exploration of the former Eastern bloc (Yugoslavia, Poland...) in nighttime compositions of collective housing, cars, graffiti and neon signs. These photographs were made on long walks through the streets of African capitals, including Johannesburg, Durban, Maputo, Beira, Harare, Nairobi, Kigali, Kampala, Addis Ababa, Luanda, Libreville, Accra, Dakar and Dar es Salaam, and the series takes its title from the Museum of the Revolution in Maputo, Mozambique.
