Upcoming Exhibition: Miron Zownir - Berlin 1977-2025

Uban Spree Galerie, in collaboration with Cologne-based Galerie Bene Taschen, presents a retrospective of iconic photographs by the German-Ukrainian photographer Miron Zownir, spanning nearly five decades of an intense visual journey, from the divided German city to the reunified metropolis.
Like no other photographers of his generation, Miron Zownir captured both the rebellious and melancholic spirit of West Berlin of the 1980s, as well as the architectural transformations, hedonistic energy, and protest movements following the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Accompanying the exhibition, Urban Spree Books will be publishing the photobook "MIRON ZOWNIR BERLIN 1977–2025", featuring a carefully curated selection of his Berlin photographic works.
