Victor Ash's Xberg Astronaut

  • Feb 15, 2014

Victor_Ash_astronaut_100x70_1024x1024Victor Ash (b. 1968) made the Astronaut mural (22m x 14m) in Berlin Kreuzberg as part of the 3rd editon of the Backjumps Festival in 2007. Since then, the wall has become one of the street art landmarks of Berlin, together with the famous murals by Blu, Roa or Os Gemeos, all in Kreuzberg.

Victor Ash collaborated with Dolly Demoratti and her screen print studio Mother Drucker (currently an Urban Spree Resident Artist and Studio) to produce a limited edition screenprint of the wall on a 300 gsm archival paper (100 x 70 cm).

The first original run has been sold out. Mother Drucker x Victor Ash are now releasing a 2nd edition (or 2014 Edition) of 200 L.E. screen prints.

You can order it on the Urban Spree webstore here.
