Zwischenzeit by David Morago opens on Friday 24.07

Urban Spree Galerie opens their Summer Exhibition "Zwischenzeit" by David Morago on Friday, July 24th, 2026 in presence of the artist. 

Zwischenzeit is the first solo show of the Spanish artist David Morago with Urban Spree Galerie, following a 3-month Residency at Urban Spree in Berlin.

Zwischenzeit is an exhibition about transition and the moment when a new artistic language begins to emerge.

Active internationally since the late 1990s, Morago first became known for his detailed paintings inspired by the natural world. Today, he is marking a transition from naturalistic representation towards a more abstract and experimental visual language, opening up new ways of seeing and interpreting the image.

The Residency and Exhibition are in partnership with Madrid-based institution Solo Contemporary.
