About the Concert

Mine ist die Summe vieler klingender Ideen und umherschwirrender Worte. Der gemeinsame, verbindende Nenner ist eine einzige Person. Denn Mine ist ein Soloprojekt. Die Mainzerin führt darin Klänge zu Melodien und Worte zu Texten zusammen. Zwei Hände voll Lieder, zahlreiche Facetten, eine ganze Band. So ganz allein ist sie dann doch nicht. Seit zwei Jahren schreibt Mine Songs, nimmt sie auf, fährt mit ihrer Band über die Lande und präsentiert ihre Musik den Menschen. Sie schreibt Lieder, die emotional berühren, die melancholisch, leicht und nachdenklich sind, deren Schwerpunkt auf einer Klaviertaste zu balancieren scheint. Intellektuelles Kopfzerbrechen ist in ihren deutschsprachigen Texten nicht zu finden. Stattdessen: Lyrischer Minimalismus, der getragen wird von ausgefuchsten Arrangements. Mines Rhythmen sind ein Sog, kein Selbstzweck. Gitarren, Trommeln, ein Vibraphon und schwarze und weiße Tasten verlegen dazu weiche Klangteppiche. Auf denen führt Mine ihre Stimme spazieren. Auf ihrem Weg streift sie den Hip Hop der Stuttgarter Schule und Genres wie Folk, elektronische Musik und Jazz.
