About the Concert
Throughout 2024, this house, Mots Music, is celebrating a decade of informing about non-mainstream music and culture.
For our event in Berlin we have the legendary 80's band, Days of Sorrow, recovered with infinte love a couple of years ago by Ombra Festival, a group that leads the celebration of our tenth anniversary next Saturday, August 24, in the well-known Urban Spree.
The Germans will not only present new songs from the album that they are simmering, but also their new keyboardist, Katharina von Schlotterstein. Hymns like “Firestar”, “Wild World” or “I Travel” will make the Berlin stage vibrate, a stage that will witness new tracks that the group is pleased to perform exclusively for this meeting.
Along with Days of Sorrow, as part of the live shows, there will be Nochteff (Humans Die / God). The artist of Argentine origin living in the German capital will present his new solo project, opening a night where there will be no shortage of DJs and electronic music played on vinyl, and only on vinyl.
And it is this format that is always chosen by Synths Versus Me (Oráculo Records) and Max Headroom, bosses of Ombra Festival, with whom we will have the pleasure of having in our electronic evening.
Likewise, our tenth anniversary is nourished by local artists who have also passed through Ombra such as Annechoic, on this occasion together with Manuela Mayoral under the name LSN101, or Parand, an Iranian production company well known for its careful musical selection and exquisite way of mixing, who will play alongside Inmoralia, formerly known as From Hell, the creator of this project we call Mots Music. The Catalan ZFK, member of the collective The Joy Of Mechanical Force, will be the artist who will add an industrial and experimental touch to the night.
