About the Event
Raindance Berlin is excited to announce its inaugural launch weekend taking place from Friday 10th – Sunday 12th May 2013 at Urban Spree.
Raindance is the UK’s leading independent film festival. Over the years, the festival has hosted such guests and filmmakers as Christopher Nolan, Shane Meadows, Ken Loach, Marky Ramone, Iggy Pop, Anton Corbijn, Mick Jones, Andrea Arnold, Adam Yauch, Quentin Tarantino, Faye Dunaway and Lou Reed.
Raindance have been teaching filmmakers in the UK for 20 years, and now they are in Berlin! This launch weekend celebrates the new incarnation of the Raindance organisation in Berlin, having recently developed a strong and ambitious partnership with the Berlin Film Society.
