Berlin Breakout: A 3-Day Hardcore-Punk Festival promoting diversity on the RAW Gelände

Powered by Loft and happening across 3 different venues on the RAW Gelände (Astra, Urban Spree & Cassiopeia), Berlin Breakout celebrates its premiere in 2025 as an independent music festival focusing on energetic subculture and counterculture music. It provides a platform for up-and-coming and established bands from the hardcore and punk scene. With a progressive approach, we want to usher in a new era for the genre and promote diversity within the scene.
We place great importance on values such as diversity, inclusion and a positive, open attitude. These are reflected both on stage and in the audience. The aim is to overcome old clichés and create an open atmosphere in which everyone feels welcome. In addition to the musical acts, there will also be a supporting program that promotes exchange within the community.
We chose the RAW area in Berlin-Friedrichshain as the venue because it stands for artistic diversity, DIY spirit, subculture and ambitious support for the local scene like no other place in Berlin.
