Dews Pegahorn, born in Stuttgart, is a German-African rock musician with roots in Madagascar and Angola. His musical journey began early in life: inspired by legends like Michael Jackson and shaped by the music of 2Pac, he discovered his passion for sound and emotion as a child. After receiving classical vocal training at a music boarding school and gaining initial experience as the frontman of a rock band, Dews developed his unique style—marked by melancholic guitars, wild drums, and atmospheric vocals. Following a period in hip-hop production, he returned to his rock roots in November 2023, where he rediscovered his authentic artistic voice and expression, which he best describes in three words: “danceable manic depression.”
