The ‘Producto Latino’ fanzine expresses the artist's need to assert himself and mark the territory in which he is evolving as a foreigner.
Statement from the author:
"Through its pages, I explore not only my journey as a graffiti writer who left his homeland in search of new opportunities but also the emotional voyage of someone who carries dreams, nostalgia, and challenges while striving for a better life.
Graffiti, which I call my "disease," has been a dual force in my existence. It has given me as much as it has taken away. It has been both my refuge and my storm, an escape route that has also confronted me with the limits of society and my own demons. This work is built through metaphors and analogies, transforming everyday objects and fleeting moments into symbols of my identity and internal struggle.
In "Producto Latino", art becomes the language I use to express the contradiction of missing a home that no longer exists in the same way in my memory. It is an attempt to visually capture what it means to be an immigrant in Europe: the adaptation, the cultural clash, the melancholy, but also the hope and personal growth.
This project is just one part of my story, a window into my vision of the world and the invisible scars that displacement leaves behind. Through its images and narratives, I seek not only to share my perspective but also to connect with those who have felt the weight of distance and the constant search for a place to call home."
