About the Concert
For the first time in Germany, Arno De Cea & the Clockwork Wizards come from the inbred ‘garage’ scene from Bordeaux, where they shared stages, amps, beers and sweat with other great bands from the City of Wine, such as the Magnetix or JC Satan.
Playing surf music as if it was a subdivision of heavy metal, they call it ‘Brutal surf’ and they mean it. No 60’s dandy revivalism here, but rather survivalism, and instead of the polite Dick Dale covers for your grandmother, expect an intense live experience, close to trying to surf in a tornado.
