Ungebundene zeitgenössische Instrumentalmusik, die klassische Musikstrukturen mit innovativen Loop-Techniken kombiniert und die Zuhörer in den Bann zieht. Das alles schafft 𝐉𝐨 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐥 mit ihrem Cello und wird ihre komplexe, aber dennoch zugängliche und faszinierende Kunst präsentieren.
 
𝐉𝐨 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐥 ist eine international anerkannte Komponistin und virtuose Cellistin aus London, Großbritannien. Sie ist auf der Bühne als Solistin, mit Bands oder in Zusammenarbeit mit Chor und Orchester gleichermaßen zu Hause. Sie kombiniert eine eloquente Beherrschung ihres Instruments mit innovativen Loop-Techniken, um ihre komplexe, suggestive Musik für ein Publikum in aller Welt zu realisieren. Inspiriert von der bildenden Kunst ebenso wie von anderen Komponisten, nennt Jo Barbara Hepworth und Georgia O'Keefe als Haupteinflüsse, neben der vielfältigen Musik von Debussy, Pärt, Tool und Trent Reznor. Infolgedessen überschreitet sie die Grenzen zwischen den Genres, weckt die Emotionen der Zuhörer und führt das Publikum mit jedem Konzert auf neues Terrain. Ihr überschwänglicher, feierlicher Vortragsstil hat ihr eine Fangemeinde in der Welt der zeitgenössischen Klassik sowie unter Liebhabern von progressiver Musik, Post-Rock, Metal und Electronica eingebracht. Ihr aktuelles Album „The Cartographer“, das im vergangenen Jahr erschien, wurde von der Presse frenetisch gefeiert und markiert einen weiteren Meilenstein in der Karriere der Cellistin.
