Kælan Mikla's latest album "Undir Köldum Norðurljósum" ( bristles with outspoken punk spirit and makes the Icelandic band's sound even more captivating than before. Cinematic synthesizers, ethereal vocals in their native tongue, creepy screams and driving bass draw the listener deeper than ever into the world of Kælan Mikla - a place of folklore and fairy tales, magic and mysticism.
In addition to Alcest, Kælan Mikla has toured with major artists such as Drab Majesty and King Dude, and was personally selected by Robert Smith of The Cure to play at The Cure's 40th anniversary show, as well as for a performance at the Pasadena Daydream Festival.
