About the Concert
MERSEY SKYS tear into the indie rock scene with a sound that crashes the nostalgia of the Madchester era headfirst into the future. With wavey, dueling guitars and raw, relentless energy, the band injects a modern bite into their shoegaze-drenched roots.
Their recent headline show at Berlin’s Cassiopeia was a packed, full-throttle set, awash in swirling guitars and the dreamlike haze of Manchester’s Hacienda days, leaving the crowd buzzing long after the final note.
Their new single, „Fadeout,“ delivers a swirling, dreamy sound that blends lush shoegaze textures with the pulse and urgency of 90s Britpop and indie rock. Rooted in the golden era of dual guitar bands, „Fadeout“ brings lead guitar back to the front — wavey, melodic, and explosive. Influenced by the likes of Slowdive, The Stone Roses, DMA’s, and the high-energy spirit of bands like Kasabian, Mersey Skys are shaping a new sound for the next generation of guitar-driven music — one that feels both nostalgic and future-bound.
