Nicky Crane, the solo output of James Vinciguerra of Melbourne post punk band Total Contol, debuts his live show in Berlin on the back of the band's European tour. James Vinciguerra's previous works under his Nicky Crane moniker (released on noise label Future Archaic) are droned out and distorted ambient textures. His latest release on Rhythm Works sees his sound shift into the vein of early raw electro and techno.

Ill Winds (NotNotFun). Circular Ruins transports the listener to faraway ancient worlds. Soaring melodies atop marching synthesizer sequences and lush phasing drones meander through the still void.
