The Cosmic Dead (psychedelic rock/space rock/krautrock - UK) - Heavy Psych Sounds Records
The Cosmic Dead are an amorphous blob of space rock energy hailing from Glasgow, Scotland. Their exploratory compositions often reach levels of sonic destruction through reflective repetition and visceral harmony.
The band has taken many forms since forming in 2010 and has been declared "the loudest psychedelic rock band on the planet" by legendary compere Kozmik Ken. At the base of the current sonic obliteration team is a rhythm section of Tommy Duffin and Omar Aborida, a thunderous and cohesive unit which is then further propelled into the outer realms by Luigi Pasquini providing frantic italo synthesized electronics along with Calum Calderwood's mind bending, sky-shattering fiddle acrobatics.
Their long awaited ninth album "Infinite Peaks", was released in April 2024 via Heavy Psych Sounds.

Berlin born multiinstrumentalist Dave Schmidt, aka Sula Bassana, became a leading person in the european psychedelic-, spacerock- and neo-krautrock-scene over last decades. Due to his unstoppable, but very well reviewed output with his bands and projects.
He released several albums under his moniker Sula Bassana, plus a lot of records with his ex band Electric Moon, as well as his other projects Zone Six, Interkosmos and Krautzone. And don’t forget all his ex-bands from the 90’s and later: Liquid Visions, Growing Seeds, Weltraumstaunen, Psychedelic Monsterjam, Südstern 44, Krautzone...
He is also founder of one of the most important psychedelicrock-labels of Europe: Sulatron-Records.
