About the Concert
Update!! Unfortunately, Wet Dream War Machine had to cancel their appearance on this show. After we summoned a few infernal deities and consulted with them, they suggested we get a hold of Kryptkeeper. The punk vampires were more than happy to oblige, so we welcome this dark anomaly to our cabinet of curiosities. Light a candle and follow us into the dark!

Hexenbrett is a 70s folk horror movie visiting his giallo cousin in the city - they will drink a bottle of red wine, evoke an old fashioned demon and blood will be spilt on a shag carpet, while a phone goes off unanswered in the background. If you decide to call it „black heavy metal“, you may. It‘s just an accessory to the fact.
While the band had to ditch its show in Berlin in the spring due to non-disclosed accidents (things happen while raising demons, after all), they had the good sense of heading out on tour in the summer, bringing along fellow Austrian necromancer Deathstorm, who, as the name suggests, are more in the business of razor-sharp thrashing blast attacks.
Rounding up the Sunday attraction, as is now customary at our matinees, two more local acts:
Abglanz is progressive, symphonic black metal and for once we don‘t use those adjectives as pejoratives but as matter of factly as possible. In the 90s we would have used the magic word „avantgarde“.
A full meal is thus served, and of course, it is poisoned.
