YEARS OF DENIAL are widely known for their well-crafted sharp productions and electrifying live shows. Utilizing hardware and a plethora of dub devices combined with vocals. The duo revisit the dark corners of post-punk, goth, new beat, EBM, industrial, and rave culture.
SMFORMA are a hypnotic techno-EBM music collaboration between, Mario F. (electronics) and Jogile D. (voice, electronics). Besides SMFORMA, Mario plays noise as d.Forma and he’s 1/2 of punk duo Dead Normal. Jogile has been exploring electronic music and performance under different names for two decades. She discovers the artistic performing-activity as a means of exploring her roots in a spiritual aspect.
DESOLATION COLONY materialized in the summer of 2019 in the brutal New Orleans heat. While on tour in Europe with Azar Swan, Joshua Strachan became equally inspired by the writing of Jeff VanderMeer and the spaces and sound systems of the venues Azar Swan was playing. After sketching several pieces of music, he invited fellow Wierd Records alum Justin Vial (Kindest Lines) to contribute additional elements, and enlisted longtime collaborator Kris Lapke (Alberich, Prurient) to mix.
