David Morago: Zwischenzeit

Zwischenzeit is the first solo show of the Spanish artist David Morago with Urban Spree Galerie. The show opens on July 24th, following a 3-month Residency at Urban Spree in Berlin.

Zwischenzeit is an exhibition about transition and the moment when a new artistic language begins to emerge.

Active internationally since the late 1990s, Morago first became known for his detailed paintings inspired by the natural world. Today, he is marking a transition from naturalistic representation towards a more abstract and experimental visual language, opening up new ways of seeing and interpreting the image.

The Residency and Exhibition are in partnership with Madrid-based institution Solo Contemporary.
