This book is published on the occasion of the artist exhibition at the Musée national Picasso-Paris.

 

From 14 October 2025 to 1 March 2026, the Musée national Picasso-Paris is presenting an exhibition devoted to the work of Philip Guston. Based on Guston's drawings inspired by Philip Roth's book Our Gang, the exhibition will highlight the relations between Guston's painting and the satirical verve of his drawings inspired by President Nixon and his administration, as well as his political commitment, inspired in particular by Guernica.

In total, the book features around 150 works by Guston as well as the 73 drawings, along with Philip Roth's text.
