About the artist
Markus Genesius, aka WOW123, was born in 1974 in Bremen. Although he belongs to the German graffiti scene, he has recently refocused his activity on contemporary art, without losing his artistic roots. In his paintings, he combines constructive concepts with free, intuitive and gestural painting in the tradition of informal art or abstract expressionism of the 1950s.
His artworks have been exhibited in many countries.
