About

The graffiti writer Swet is releasing the fifth edition of his book series "Book of the Year". Published in September 2026 by Chemistry Publishing, the book is focusing on the year 2021.

This fifth edition brings together more than 300 walls and trains painted throughout 2021, swinging sketches, and personal stories about some of the artists Swet crossed paths with along the way, including Riot, Wane, SelOne, Mickey and Jake.

2021 was a special year. Swet turned 50 and decided to celebrate it the only way he knows how — by painting 50 walls in 24 hours.

Swet’s approach to graffiti has always stayed rooted in the original mindset of the culture. Graffiti belongs in the streets and on trains. No matter how much “normal” life gets in the way, Swet keeps going and stays true to that mindset. Funky letters, fresh connections and that crazy swing don’t just happen. It takes energy, speed and years of painting to hit surfaces with that kind of power and consistency.
