Evol has represented one of his famous buildings and played with the windows, like the squares in the TV game "Whell of Fortune". Revealing the right squares reveals "Home Sweet home" in German: "Trautes Heim Glück allein" but before solving the riddle, "raues Heim" appears, i.e. not very comfortable...

On the background, on the wall stands the half-buffed remains of a SAEIO tag on the original wall to commemorate the work of the French graffiti artist, who died in 2017.


About the artist

EVOL (b. 1972) is a German, Berlin-based stencil artist whose chiseled renderings of Berlin houses and Plattenbau made him an icon of street art since more than 20 years.

EVOL has had numerous solo and group exhibitions, such as interventions at Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, Pera Museum in Istanbul, Nuart Festival, Palais de Tokyo, Moscow Biennale, MACRO Museum in Rome…
