Boiler Room returns to Urban Spree with a 100% Japanese edition.
From reggae/Japanese-pop fusion to hip-hop beats, and ambient to the avant-garde; this superbly eclectic lineup is sure to behold some great surprises.

First up it’s DJ Die Soon, who promises twisted sonic landscapes along with extraordinarily inventive visuals by VJ Chuu.
MimiCof is the solo project of Midori Hirano . Currently based in Berlin, MimiCof’s experimental melodies have brought her to perform at various festivals. She is joined in the Boiler Room by visual artist Kaliber 16.
Kiki Hitomi has been brought to recent acclaim with her solo debut album “Karma No Kusari” (2016) on Jahtari.
Japanese DJ and producer Shins-K is self-described as a “dubstractic junglist.” His trip-beat productions fuse IDM and darker techno, bringing something new to the more hip-hop-inclined artists on the bill.
Lastly Group A will be bringing a weird and wonderful blend of industrial music and provocative performance style. A spectacle not to be missed.

Gang Of Ducks is an ambitious project with an intriguing record-releasing arm born in 2013. Even though it was physically established between Turin and Berlin, most of the gang’s focus lies in the web, where their aesthetic approach can be presented without being attributed to specific locations.

Over 4 years of activity the ducks have developed a clear artistic vision which propagates in their releases, zines, art essays, DIY videos, and other art fields – making their own label description “HandmadeCyberSpiritualPunkSci-Lo-Fi” to somehow make sense in a peculiar way.

On the 10th of January the gang will be hitting Berlin for a BR club takeover at Urban Spree with XIII, Sabla, OOBE, Vaghe Stelle, and N.M.O to ensure some serious channel two madness. We’ll also have a scenic stage set up designed by CRIPTA747, comprising an environmental project made by a soundsystem of tuned cars.
