Supported by the amazing Petra Glynt
Coming up in the late-2000s noise scene of Montreal, electronic noise producer Airick Woodhead began his solo project Doldrums in 2010. Melding different aspects of electronic sequencing and noisy sample-based sounds with hypnotic pop structures, Doldrums quickly emerged in a series of random tracks, 7″ singles, remixes, and even a VHS collection of videos.
Doldrums released their new full-length E s c on June 30th, 2017. Mixed by Matthew Otto (Majical Cloudz), E s c also features collaborations with Petra Glynt and Tobias Rochman of Peleda.

Elephant Stone announce their new album and go on UK/European tour in winter 2020
“Hollow” will be released February 14th on the London label Fuzz Club
Elephant Stone, that’s the highly respected sitar player Rishi Dhir, his long-time fellow musicians Miles Dupire (drums) & Robbie MacArthur (guitar) as well as guest musician Jason Kent (keys/guitar). The sixth album of the Psych-Pop-Creation, founded in 2009, will be released on February 14th.
Regarding the album and the new single “Hollow World”, Rishi says: “I’m sure I’m not alone with this feeling. If social media has taught us anything, it is that there are many unhappy people out there trying to find a way out. They are looking for meaning and something to believe in… or nothing to believe in. We all want the same thing, but we try to achieve it in different ways. It was with this in mind that we wrote and recorded our sixth album, Hollow. I wrote a song suite that tells of a world of unhappy souls who have lost touch with one another.”
The result is an ambitious, dystopian sci-fi concept album inspired by “The Who’s” ‘Tommy’, Pretty Things’ ‘S.F, Sorrow’ and the second side of the famous “The Beatles” ‘Abbey Road’.
In winter 2020 the band from Canada will go on a big UK & Europe tour, with many dates in hip cities – including Paris, Berlin and London.

Show Me The Body
19.05.2020 Urban Spree
Doors 20:00 I Start 21:00
Show Me The Body started as a band in 2009 consisting of Julian Cashwan Pratt (banjo and vocals), Harlan Steed (bass), and Gabriel Millman (drums). Noah Cohen
Corbett (current drummer) joined the band in 2014. Their unique sound is heavily influenced, both sonically and in attitude, by the city that reared them: New York. The band has been at the forefront of the city’s underground since the release of their 2014 EP Yellow Kidney.
Over the ensuing years Show Me The Body established themselves as one of the most exciting bands in the city, through their torrid live show and distinctive sonics.
Dog Whistle, Show Me The Body’s most immediate and critically acclaimed body of work to date, is heavy yet honest. The album was produced by Chris Coady, Show Me The Body, and Gabriel Millman (original drummer and current in – house producer).
Dog Whistle was written in Long Island City, Queens and recorded in Los Angeles, California in the summer of 2018.
“Dog Whistle is a call to arms directed at the community, its sonic urgency reflecting the mounting challenges of surviving in the city,” writes The FADER. The album was released on March 29th, 2019 and follows Show Me The Body’s debut album Body War.
Show Me The Body has spent the last several years building and elevating a community of like minded artists and creative collaborators called Corpus. The first Corpus release was an eponymous mixtape featuring Denzel Curry, Princess Nokia, Eartheater, Moor Mother, and more. Corpus has also released projects from Trippjones, Dreamcrusher, and Dog Breath.
More recently, Show Me The Body toured with Code Orange and King Krule. They’re currently preparing to set out on tour with HEALTH and Daughters.
BOBBY RAUSCH Record Release Concert SOAP
Presented by: XJAZZ, MUSSZO, SPRINGSTOFF & 80 DAYS RECORDS
23. January 2020
Urban Spree Berlin
On January 17, 2020 the debut album SOAP of the Berlin band BOBBY RAUSCH will be released on Eighty Days Records. After concerts at the XJazz Festival Bobby Rausch returns to Berlin together with Springstoff, Musszo and XJazz to play the Record Release concert at Urban Spree on January 23rd, 2020.
SOAP sounds determined and clear, but never loses its closeness or dirt. The songs span the spectrum between Berlin club culture, underground and great scenic narration. While the force of the sound overcomes you, you still feel pleasantly secure in the unexpected tonal turns of the band. The Berlin DJ and producer DJ Illvibe (Peter Fox, Marteria, Seeed) is a feature guest on three SOAP tracks. This album lets you sweat only to wash your soul afterwards.
AFAR blurs the horizons between organic and electronic sound worlds. With the fragile sounds of wind chimes and kalimba, mystical voices, analog synthesizers, drum machines and electric guitar, they invite you on a journey that is both intimate and ecstatic.
Close your eyes and find yourself in a hypnotic cinematic world, comparable to the surreal vibe of a Jim Jarmusch film.

With great passion for their craft, these three young men combine the electrifying drive of rock’n’roll music with booty-shaking funkiness and the healing quality of soul and blues. Their roots go deep into America’s sonic treasure box, sprouting a shoot on today’s branches, swaying in the breeze alongside bands such as Rival Sons or Royal Blood. The heartbeat of the group is a companionship going back more than a decade. Formed in 2019, Circus Electric consists of Oskar, Leo and Adrian – a trio pursuing the joy of speaking a language through their instruments. Their unique sound comes as a result of an intriguing recording process, which takes place in the drummer’s studio, deep in the countryside. After a number of “interesting“ experiences in the music industry, they’ve concluded that the future lies firmly in their own hands. Together with their low-end friend Oskar, the stars finally seemed to align – allowing them to push each other to their best. There’s a distinct energy and sense of adventure in every note shot out of the sonic raygun known as Circus Electric.
