Urban Spree and Sliks are releasing a new series of Berlin-made graffiti t-shirts and hoodies.
São Paulo graffiti artist Rafael Sliks has designed a new series of screenprinted t-shirts and hoodies for Urban Spree during his Berlin Residency in March 2017. The 3 new designs are part of the 2017 new Urban Spree Artist Series and as usual are limited to 50 units per design + 10 hoodies.
T-shirts and hoodies are screen printed at Urban Spree in the Mother Drucker studios.
The 3 designs are Sliks’ astro fatcap signature style printed with a discharged ink on a black t-shirt and with a special water-based reflective silver ink on the hoodie, a bubble motive topped with a throw-up, and a pixação throw-up (URB SPR).
The series is edited in collaboration with Ease Clothing, Sliks’s streetwear collection and are available at Urban Spree Berlin and online here.

ALL THE GHOSTS
All The Ghosts is a Berlin based Dark-rock/ Post-punk band formed in 2014 by Janiko Stolar and Deni Pavicic. Stolar’s profound Nico-esque vocals combined with Pavicic’s dark melancholy rapid guitar riffing revealed a perfect match. After performing an exclusive show for the couture clothing label ‘Kaviar Gauche’ and presenting their debut single ‘Watch Me Dance’, the band played at sold out venues as Urban Spree, Magnet Club and Berghain Kantine (w/ White Hills/ Sunflower Bean). Now being in the studio recording their first album, the bands haunting melodies and sonic assault of the senses will be sure to reach you at thier upcoming live shows.
THE SPINNING LAMPS
The Spinning Lamps recorded their debut LP with Gordon Raphael, producer of The Strokes first two albums ‘This Is It’ and ‘Room On Fire’. After supporting bands such as Carl Barat and the Jackals, Tomorrow Tulips, Quilt and The Shivas the bands new EP is being released on Rood Woof Records in the summer of ‘17. Drawing influence from groups such as The Velvet Underground and The Doors The Spinning Lamps re-create that organ driven melodic sound of the sixties.

Sister Iodine Live
French pioneer experimental rock band formed in the early 90’s by Lionel Fernandez, Erik Minkkinen and Nicolas Mazet, Sister Iodine is a rare band who release now their 5th studio album “Blame”.
Originally born on the ashes of no wave, their music searches through some sort of terminal confusion between rock and chaos; colliding to original raw and atonal no wave, their primitive love of noise music, eruptions and assaults coming from free music; tapes collage, a bitter moisture humected in industrial music, and maybe even poisonous climaxes taken from black metal influences.
The band has released on (r.i.p) Zeitgeist, Textile Records, Premier Sang and Editions Mego. Their latest album “Flame Desastre” (released on Premier Sang – lp + Editions Mego – cd version w/ extra-tracks) was released in 2009. In 2011 Sister Iodine released a deafening live record from a tour in Japan, fruit of a brutal collaboration with Violent Onsen Geisha & Hair Stylistics leader Masaya Nakahara mastered by Denis Blackham.
Berlin-based composer and saxophonist André Vida has performed widely as a soloist and has collaborated with a diverse group of artists including Anthony Braxton, Kevin Blechdom, Tarek Atoui, Hildur Gudnadottir, and Jamie Lidell. He has worked closely with Anri Sala on multi-media installations at the Serpentine Gallery in London, the Roman Ampitheatre in Arles, and the Museum of Modern Art in Louisiana, Denmark. Vida has been invited to create works focused on the medium and materiality of scoring for The Tri-Centric Foundation, Global Art Forum 7, the 8th Berlin Biennale, Eyebeam, and the European Sax Ensemble. These works include explorations of interactivity, animation, lighting, and clothing design as elements of a compositional system that refocuses the physicality and performance.
