Lollapalooza Club Night

10 September 2016 has another premiere for the city that never sleeps: the festival presents the first Lollapalooza Club Night in cooperation with Clubcommission Berlin, bringing you dozens of DJs and acts, plus more than 15 clubs with one ticket.

Urban Spree welcomes you to the Urban Spree Late Summer Sessions feat. Catnapp (AR) live + our secret guest DJs in an outdoor/indoor session.

The fact that Lollapalooza Berlin is more than just a music festival and always good for a surprise is well-established by now, as attractions and highlights like Kidzapalooza, the Grüner Kiez, Lolla Fun Fair and the impressive art programme on the Treptower Park grounds go to show. But we’ve got another bit of icing on the cake for 10 September 2016, and what better reason to bust out those moves: Lollapalooza Club Night!

Just because Kings Of Leon, Paul Kalkbrenner, New Order, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and co. will be finishing their sets on Lollapalooza Saturday doesn’t mean you can’t still get your dance on, au contraire: Lollapalooza Club Night will turn night to day. Working in cooperation with Clubcommission Berlin, Lollapalooza managed to get more than 15 of the city’s hottest clubs to participate in this unique premiere. Just one (additional) ticket and festivalgoers can move the party from Treptower Park to clubs like Ipse, Bi Nuu, Arena Club, Magdalena, Matrix, Tresor, Urban Spree and many more.

This also means your mates who didn’t make it to the festival in Treptower Park can join you in dancing the night away; it goes without saying that anyone can buy a ticket for EUR 17,60 starting now – all are welcome to the first-ever Lollapalooza Club Night. Advance tickets are on sale now – click here to get yours.

Föllakzoid began seven years ago as a trance experience between childhood friends Diego, Juan Pablo, and Domingo from Santiago, Chile. Heavily informed by the heritage of the ancient music of the Andes, the band has learned to integrate this influence with contemporary sounds of their times, creating a rich yet minimal atmosphere.

For III, the band wanted to expand their sound while building an atmosphere with mainly monochords and reiteration. After recording and mixing the album on their own at their studio at BYM Records, they partnered with German elec- tronic maestro Atom TM to flesh out the album’s synth parts. Most of the sounds he provided were atonal electronic sounds, aiming for concrete frequencies and sampled organic glitches. (The Korg synthesizer Atom TM plays on this record was used by Kraftwerkon a tour during the ’80s and given to him by Florian Schneider.)

III is a four-part minimal sound voyage in which you can hear Föllakzoid’s musi- cal language developing into something more upbeat, obscure, and sharp, yet even simpler in terms of elements. During the past year, the band played more than 80 gigs, including at Primavera Sound Festival (both Porto and Barcelona), ATP Festival in the UK, Musique Volantes in Lyon, and Lollapalooza Chile. The shows for III, including a confirmed set at Austin Psych Fest in May, should spread the band’s fog-enshrouded gospel to an even wider audience.

Tutti Frutti Fest #3

Tutti Frutti Fest #3
– präsentiert von taz. die tageszeitung, ByteFM, Nothing But Hope And Passion, hhv Records, ASK HELMUT & MAKAVA delighted ice tea

LineUp
. walter tv (CA)
. Aldous RH (UK)
. Jakob Ogawa (NO)
. Mile me deaf (AT)
. Tatum Rush (CH)
. WORLD BRAIN (DE)

Tutti Frutti Fest is back!

„Undeniably bassy, these 3 lewd dudes from Vancouver Canada ruin the stage.“ Passt!
