Urban Spree Gallery is thrilled to announce that The photocopy club, a London based monthly DIY exhibition created and curated by Matt Martin and featuring only photocopied/xerox photography will have a 1 night exhibition at Urban Spree on April 12th, 2014.

What The photocopy club is aiming at is to get photography off the Internet and get printed matter back into the hands of the public. Photocopying is one of the cheapest ways to get photography printed. The photocopy club exhibitions are like a giant zine that everyone can take a page from. Shows are always on one day/night only and exhibited works are sold for £5 to keep the project afloat.

After successful installations in London, Brighton, Bristol and Hong Kong, The photocopy club casts its lo-fi DIY spirit in  Berlin.

To embrace the city’s chaotic and vibrant DNA, The photocopy club is curating a no-theme open call.  Shoot, copy, send.

Details about the submission guidelines can be found on the blog here.
