Die Wiener Band LEFTOVERS macht Musik für die Zukunft mit den Mitteln der Vergangenheit und einem untrüglichen Gespür für die Zumutungen der Gegenwart. Es mag für manche nicht besonders zeitgemäß klingen, aber es ist nun an der Zeit, an die gewaltige Kraft der Stromgitarre zu erinnern. An die Schönheit und den Zauber, die in dem romantischen Konzept von einer Gruppe aus Freundinnen und Freunden liegen, die zusammen die Welt aus den Angeln heben. Die eine Gang sind. Für die es nichts wichtigeres gibt, als genau hier und jetzt und mit diesen Leuten genau diese Art von Musik zu machen.

Die Livestärke der LEFTOVERS ist auch einer anderen Band aus Wien aufgefallen: nicht ganz ohne Grund haben WANDA die 4er-Bande als support für ihre gesamte Frühjahrstour durch D angeheuert. Im Herbst treten LEFTOVERS dann zu ihrer ersten eigenen (großen) Headliner Tour an.
