Show Me The Body started as a band in 2009 consisting of Julian Cashwan Pratt (banjo and vocals), Harlan Steed (bass), and Gabriel Millman (drums). Noah Cohen
Corbett (current drummer) joined the band in 2014. Their unique sound is heavily influenced, both sonically and in attitude, by the city that reared them: New York. The band has been at the forefront of the city’s underground since the release of their 2014 EP Yellow Kidney.
Over the ensuing years Show Me The Body established themselves as one of the most exciting bands in the city, through their torrid live show and distinctive sonics.
Dog Whistle, Show Me The Body’s most immediate and critically acclaimed body of work to date, is heavy yet honest. The album was produced by Chris Coady, Show Me The Body, and Gabriel Millman (original drummer and current in – house producer).
Dog Whistle was written in Long Island City, Queens and recorded in Los Angeles, California in the summer of 2018.
« Dog Whistle is a call to arms directed at the community, its sonic urgency reflecting the mounting challenges of surviving in the city, » writes The FADER. The album was released on March 29th, 2019 and follows Show Me The Body’s debut album Body War.
Show Me The Body has spent the last several years building and elevating a community of like minded artists and creative collaborators called Corpus. The first Corpus release was an eponymous mixtape featuring Denzel Curry, Princess Nokia, Eartheater, Moor Mother, and more. Corpus has also released projects from Trippjones, Dreamcrusher, and Dog Breath.
More recently, Show Me The Body toured with Code Orange and King Krule. They’re currently preparing to set out on tour with HEALTH and Daughters.
Finally after almost 10 years of self destruction, getting stuck in loops between Berlin and Tel aviv and NOT remembering most of our shows we are happy and proud to release our first album.

… The king remained as if the sword had stab his chest through. He didn’t sleep until morning; he wondered what and how, to so that it did not happen what he heard here …
Prague-based puppet theater and performance crew Hura Collective presents in Berlin at Urban Spree a puppet performance from the cycle of dark adaptations of the fairytales of K.J. Erben.
K. J. Erben is a Czech writer of fantasy prose from the 19th century in the wake of the Gebrüder Grimm.
VLASY means « hair » – referenced in the performance as the three golden hair, and accounts for the first part of the story HAIR – EYES – DEATH based on the stories from K. J. Erben.
The King, who loved to chase game the woods, eventually, after a number of evil deeds, he longed to chase for the game forever. Hand of destiny, drowned Princess, revived skeleton, shadows, live sounds on the springs and bells in the tradition of family puppet theaters.
Prague-based Hura Collective, mostly through the « Echt Street Puppets » project and the leadership of Hza Bažant, is the main driving force behind the renewal of the czech millenary tradition in puppet mastery, bringing the art to a larger scale with some puppets ranging in the 4 to 5 meters range.
The theater performance is wordless, so it is suitable for all public. However due to a dark theme and supernatural elements, we advise it may not suitable for children under 8.
The premiere of the event will be launched in Prague on 01.12.2018 (http://www.jatka78.cz/cs/inscenace/erben-vlasy) and will premiere in Germany on Saturday, December 15th, 2018.

A Cosmo records Night in favour of Medibüro-Kampagne Berlin
Mediburo Berlin was founded in 1996 as a self-organised non-government project. As an anti-racism initiative we have
been pursuing the goal of improving healthcare provision for illegalised* refugees and migrants in political and pragmatic
ways. As the factual exclusion of illegalised persons from the regular healthcare system is based largely on political
reasons we want to promote public awareness of this problem and call for political solutions by means of our public
relations work. None of the people involved are paid for their work on the project.
